European-inspired Vesper is serious about cocktails, one of the OG Bangkok sipper spots with a decade of history along Convent Road under its belt. Accented by leather furnishings and forest green counters, the establishment has continued to evolve, most recently under bar manager and British transplant Tom Hearn, after building his career at the American Bar at The Savoy and other lauded London establishments. After scoring the 2023 Bar Team of the Year award at the BKK Bar Show, Hearn launched his People of Vesper Vol. 2 menu, honoring the roster of guests who have frequented this neighborhood bar in the years prior to his arrival just a year-and-a-half ago.

The lineup of classic cocktails and new creations, plus the Mediterranean-leaning tapas menu, together represent the bar’s polyglot origins in an unpretentious, relatable and approachable manner to the everyday imbiber. Where the signature Vesper – elegant in its simplicity and requiring no further introduction – is one that will forever and always remain on the menu, the Persian Old Fashioned supercharges this timeless tipple with Madeira wine, apricot brandy, coffee beans and almond praline for the ultimate nightcap.
